Why should I care about eMoney?

The team at the Pidgeon Group of Wells Fargo Advisors want you to live your life without undue compromise to your current or future lifestyle, and without taking unnecessary investment risk. eMoney helps align your assets to the jobs you want them to fulfill while tracking progress towards your success, attempting to answer the question: How am I doing?

We want this plan to be a holistic view of your financial situation, so we will ask you for all your financial information including income, assets, debts, and spending goals. Once we have this vital information, then we want to create a plan together that has an overall plan score between 75-90. The score tells you your overall probably of success for the plan and individual goal probability. Using Monte Carlo simulation, this report uses up to 1000 scenarios to determine the probability of outcomes resulting from the asset allocation choices and underlying assumptions regarding rates of return and volatility of certain asset classes. Some of these scenarios will assume very favorable financial market returns, consistent with some of the best periods in investing history for investors. Some scenarios will conform to the worst periods in investing history. Most scenarios will fall somewhere in between. Unlike spreadsheets or static reports, eMoney takes real market behaviors into account—providing a dynamic and realistic view of your financial future. As market volatility occurs and goals change, we may need to adjust the plan to maintain an adequate score. You may need to make small adjustments now, which is far easier than making larger changes later.

As a client of The Pidgeon Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, we can create an eMoney plan as part of our relationship. Reviewing your unique eMoney plan is something you and your advisor will revisit annually, or as needed as various life events occur.
